About Waterhill Farms
Debbie Patten Riels is the owner & operator of this fine facility. She started her horse experience on the back of her pony when she was just 13 months old, as her grandfather proudly held her atop. Her show ring debut began when she was just 5 years old, under the guidance of world famous trainers, Jane and Wayne Lovell. She went on to compete for over 45 years, winning 29 World Championships & numerous Reserve World Championships. She continued her career choice in the equine world when she became Editor of an equine publication. Her skills as an Equine Photographer & Journalist, open doors to lead her to travels all over the world studying with Horse Professionals from every breed.

We offer 24 Hour Care
The owner lives directly above the stables allowing for 24 hour care and nightly stable checks.
Pasture Turn-Out
Horses love being outside. Exercise & social time is a key element to happiness & well being. We offer day & night turn-outs. All our pastures are constructed of vinyl fencing & have pasture shelters.

All the pastures are level to gentle rolling.
WATERHILL FARMS, is located just 15 minutes from Asheville, North Carolina. We're on the southeast side in the Fletcher/Fairview area off Cane Creek Road. We are 20 minutes north of Hendersonville, North Carolina. The farm resides in a gated area where gates are open in the morning and closed in the evenings, allowing for additional security and privacy. All clients have the freedom to come and go, enjoying 7 days a week access.
